TONAFOIL is a toner-sensitive foil designed for use with compatible digital foiling machines, opening up a whole new world of short-run metallic foil effects without the need for expensive dies. Simply print your image in black toner, and run through the laminator for a fantastic foil result, even on fine text. If you have background images, simply overlaminate them and then run back through the printer! TONAFOIL is also available in clear for spot UV effects. Available on rolls in a variety of metallic colours plus clear.This is how it works
The specified design is printed directly onto the substrate with toner or electro-ink
The foil is applied onto the preprinted material
After detaching carrier film, the metallized coating layers remain on the toner/electro-ink
